HCP for engineering: challenges and opportunities

High Performance Computing (HPC) is a powerful enabler of simulation. It is the engine that promises more speed and more accuracy to solve engineering and manufacturing problems. Thanks to this engine, CAE users can have the benefit of leveraging very fast computational machines, which, however, are more complex, consume more energy, cost more in maintenance and may suffer from more faults. It is a bit like passing from a normal vehicle to a F1. The transition has a lot of joys and also few pains. Eurotech would like to share their HPC systems manufacturer viewpoint on HPC trends, opportunities and challenges, and give some insights on those powerful engines that propel the new cars CAE users are offered to drive.
